Hello, world...I'm an alumni! This last weekend I sat through another graduation ceremony, but this time for my Associate's of Arts degree. It may sound a little dreadful since it was so soon after my high school graduation, but it was the most special one to me because all of my family and dear friends were there to see me walk. My rigorous course load full of math and science electives have paid off, and I graduated proudly with honors. Now with two years under my belt, I plan on pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Washington State University in the fall.
The following evening after the ceremony, my parents threw an intimate soirée to celebrate my graduation. Showered in cloud-like peonies and exquisite food, I couldn't have asked for a better soirée. Thank you to my mom and dad for taking the time to put together a very personal event with all of my favorite things and people, and thank you for supporting me the whole way through as I strived to graduate from high school with my AA degree. I love you both. <3
