Hello, hello!
I've finally gotten the chance to write on my blog after a couple of weeks of continuous travel--packing, leaving, coming home, unpacking, repacking...talk about a messy closet! I hope everyone had a safe and spectacular 4th. As for me, I spent the 4th with friends at Haller Lake in Seattle. It was actually the first time I had gone on a road trip without supervision.
Being at the lake really brought out my outdoorsy side (I mean, sort of). There was so much to do: kayaking, boating, jumping off the dock, climbing the treehouse, volleyball, and the list goes on! Definitely not heel friendly. As the night grew darker, we took the boat further out onto the lake for a view of the fireworks and the reflections couldn't have been more magical. I would have to say, it was one of the most eventful 4th of July I've ever celebrated!
