The Substance design studio has brought street artworks into the BIBO, a French restaurant to provide a new way of experiencing art and food. This restaurant is located in Hong Kong.
The original idea provided a space where new work can be exposed and artistic persons from all around the globe have been invited to present their work. The location of the restaurant is in a heritage building from the 1930s with marble floors and elegant illumination similar to those found in the Parisian saloons.
The interior has layers of marble stacked in uneven layers and the dining tables themselves are created from stone slabs also misaligned to create an eclectic but elegant and comfortable environment.
